I am so excited to announce three big changes for RPS Theatre Dance!
- RHS will have Dance III next year!
- We will have a second Dance teacher in Rogers Public Schools next year! Tori Randolph will take on Dance I-III at RHHS starting August 2016.
Welcome our new RHHS instructor, Tori Randolph!
Coach Randolph is the current head coach of the Sideline and Competition Dance teams at Heritage. She choreographs and cleans competition routines and prepares dancers for the sidelines at sporting events. She was trained in recreational tap, ballet, jazz, and tumbling classes until the age of 7, and then focused solely on ballet. This love of ballet began at an early age and has been the coveted foundation of her success in dance. In high school she broke out of her drive for perfection in ballet and competed in the styles of jazz, hip hop, lyrical, modern, contemporary, and musical theater all over Arkansas and National Competitions. During this time, her solos and group routines placed in Top 10 Overalls at national and regional competitions throughout the US. Coach Randolph student-taught throughout her competitive years and joined the staff of Ms. Karen’s Dance Studio as an instructor and choreographer from 2009-2013. While teaching at Ms. Karen’s she also attained her degree at Harding University in Searcy, AR with a bachelor’s in English and a Master’s in Reading. Coach Randolph has been a 6th ELA teacher at a middle school in Rogers for the past two years, and is excited to be at Heritage High School full time this fall. Her passion for storytelling (through the written word and visual arts) combined with her commitment to excellence in technique is what she hopes to inspire and share with her students. She believes that the art of dance teaches us discipline while also giving us the freedom to discover and be proud of who we truly are. Dance is her first love and she cannot wait to share that love with HHS students!
