Happy Holidays from RHS Dance

We are so close to Christmas break, and we have been busy!

This past week we celebrated the holiday season with our 3rd annual Winter Recital, Dance is Coming to Town! We had a great turnout from the school and public, and we hope to have a professional edit of the recital soon. Until then, feel free to watch the YouTube Live versions from Friday and Saturday. 

We've got some big plans for the spring: a small group of Dance IV students and NHSDA members will attend the second annual Arkansas High School Dance Festival on January 16-17; we will participate in Kindness week at Lowell Elementary in February; we hope to plan our first elementary dance workshop in early April; and our 2020 seniors will us close out the year with an unforgettable spring recital on April 23-24.

Welcome to a new school year!

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!

I am so excited to start a new year of dance with over 100 returning students and about 40 new ones!

• December 13-14, 2019 - Winter Recital
• December 13 - 6th Hour
• December 14 - 7:00pm with rehearsal before
• January 16-17, 2020 - Arkansas High School Dance Festival at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock
• This is for Dance IV students and members of the National Honors Society for the Dance Arts.
• April 23-24, 2020 - Spring Recital
• April 23 - 7:00pm
• April 24 - 5th and 6th Hours

Spring Recitals

Wow, this year has flown by! This year, Rogers High and Rogers Heritage High Dance I-IV classes have over 250 dancers! We have grown so much in such a short amount of time!

This year, both of our spring recitals will be in April.
