RHS Library Lab Day!

Happy Colors Day!

Since we have a special event today, RHS will not be meeting in the dance studio. All RHS Theatre Dance classes will meet me in the Library Lab on Friday, January 30!

As you get to the lab, log in, download and open Google Chrome, and sign into your Gmail account. Then, click on the 9 boxes at the top and select Drive. This is where your portfolio is for Theatre Dance.

Before you do anything else, check and make sure that the following are completed:

  • Title page with 15 pictures
  • Table of Contents
  • Class Mission
  • Individual Goal
  • Storytelling Video and Reflection
  • Growth So Far Reflection (as of October 3, 2014)
  • Quarter 1 Assessment Videos and Reflection
  • Quarter 1 Flexibility Pictures and Reflection
  • Ballet Choreography Video and Reflection
  • Lyrical Choreography Video and Reflection
  • Choreography Principles Project Video and Reflection
  • Quarter 2 Assessment Videos and Reflection
  • Quarter 2 Flexibility Picture and Reflection
  • Semester 1 Reflection
Wow! That's a lot of work we've accomplished already this year! Way to go, dancers!

If you are completely finished with this part, go through and make the portfolio look more polished and professional. Make sure all fonts are the same, the colors are the same and/or match, and the grammar/spelling are flawless.

Begin filling in the Table of Contents. Just like a Table of Contents in a book, label what slide is one what page. Like Class Mission, p. 3

From there, please create a flier to be hung around the schools or even feeder schools. Try to interest other students into taking Theatre Dance! Some information that you may want to include:
  • Fine arts credit
  • 9-12 grade
  • Guys and girls can take
  • Styles of dance
  • Flexibility
  • Full year
  • Spring dance recital
  • Field trips
