08/24: Lab Instructions

Our goal for today is to finish setting up our digital portfolios! After you have logged in, downloaded Google chrome and logged into your RPS30 account, head to drive.google.com.

If you were not here on Friday, please fill out this survey.

We will pick up where we left off.

1. Create digital portfolio (Video instruction).
1. Log into your rps30 gmail account.
1. Go to gmail.com
2. Type in your login+@rps30.k12.ar.us / and e= password
2. Then, go to Drive by clicking on the top 9 boxes at the top right of your screen.
3. Click the red NEW button, and select Slides.
4. A new window will appear.  You can choose your theme now, or you can change it later.
5. Change the title of the document to the class period you are in and your last name.
1.  For example, if I were in first hour and my last name were Smith, mine would read 1.Smith
6. Share the presentation with me.
1. Click the blue SHARE button in the top right.
2. Under Add People, type rpstheatredance@gmail.com
3. Then click Done.
2. Create slides for the portfolio.

1. This should be a reflection of who you are. I want to see a snapshot of your life. You can use personal photos or images from the Internet. Aim for at least 20 images.

1. Class Mission / Dancer Characteristics
1.  1st hour: In 1st hour dance, we will learn to twirl through our differences and respect each other while having fun, growing as dancers, having positive vibes, being kindhearted, and WERKing it!
2.  2nd hour: In our 2nd hour dance class, anything is possible! We will empower and encourage each other to find a new confidence while we have fun and make life-lasting memories without being judged. #rainbowhearts.
3.  3rd Hour: In Dance II, we will work hard to improve our skills with positive attitudes in a judgment free environment.
4.  5th Hour: In 5th hour, we vow to have fun as we dance our confident butts off in a safe and judgement free environment!
5. 6th Hour: In Dance II, we promise to give it our all on the good days and the bad days. As we pursue our passion and become better dancers, we will lead and support our dance family through new experiences in a judgement free environment!
6.  7th Hour: Seventh hour SQUAAAAAAD will always have fun and work together while we learn new skills as friends and family.
